Click the Preferences link in the upper right of the page.
On the next page, click the Change button.

How do you change your avatars gender?
like how do you get it from a boy to a girl|||At http://avatars.yahoo.com , you need to go to Preferences at the top right-hand corner of the screen. You then need to delete your avatar. You%26#039;re then taken to the homepage of http://avatars.yahoo.com where you can choose the avatar%26#039;s sex.|||You don%26#039;t need to delete your avatar. You can just change the gender on the Preferences page.
