I don't see how many people can say this.
A man can be feminine and still call himself a man and a woman can be masculine and still call herself a woman.
Gender is the mental identity of male and female
Sex is the physical identify of male and female
Fortunately for people like me who were born with gender and sex not matching these days its possible to change your physically assigned identity as male or female to match your mentally assigned identity.

Because that is how it is. You may indeed identify with the gender that doesn't match your sex but that doesn't change your biology.
