I apologize, but I starting with a rant to vent some stuff off. It seems like I have answered many of your questions in it though.
People see immigrants as invading our country, but blame europeans but asians and mexicans are of course top priority to get rid of. The bottom line, illegal immigrants contribute around 30% of CA's economy. They are doing jobs that %26quot;proud%26quot; Americans would never %26quot;stoop down to.%26quot; So it will be a never ending cycle because employers will never find workers willing to do such shitty job and being paid in practically pennies. My friend's mom is a certified nurse in Mexico, but gets paid more as house keeper here.

2. More rights. A more willingness to accept citizenship. Not implementing fear, but rather fostering respect. How the government acts towards anything, gives the whole population a bias to be more incline to love or despise.

Bottom line, we should being giving illegal immigrants and see them for what they truly are - NOT expendable! a huge giving population with a bad rep, which so many border states cannot function without.
I don't know if this makes a difference, but I am Polish - 3rd generation American though, so I'm as white as you can be, but I have seen all of this first hand.
