Someone please help me on my sociology ?
the first 11) Raising your hand and asking permission to use the restroom in a classroom are examples of hidden curriculum. These examples support the idea of hidden curriculum because they are not the actual curriculum in the classroom setting.

the first 12) I'm not sure... sorry.

the first 13) Kozol sees the roots of educational inequality in social inequality. ie. Poor neighborhoods have poor schools.

14) There is a connection between economic resources and educational inequalities. The more resources a town has, the more money a town has for education.

11) Again... I don't know. Sorry! :[

12) There is great diversity within the older population. Therefore they are not united as a political voice.

13) Your sex is (male or female) determined scientifically. Your gender (boy or girl) is a result of how you are socialized to act (gender socialization). There are different values and expectations for boys and girls. There is a hidden curriculum to how boys and girls should act. A boy may be raised to act like a girl, but eventually their biology (puberty) will reverse the gender socialization as in the case of David Reimer.

16) I don't know.. :[[

the last one) Because of the different expectations and values of genders, my daily life, activities, hobbies, and interests would be different. As well as how other people would treat me. This would be a result of gender socialization. The way my parents raised me - which would be differently from before - would definately conclude with different results. [I can't give away a whole 2 paragraphs. But I'm sure this is enough for you to lead off of.]

I hope this was somewhat helpful.

Some of these questions were similar to the ones in my sociology book, %26quot;Sociology and You%26quot; Shepard and Greene. I found most answers in there, however i haven't covered as many topics as your questions cover.

Here's the books website...
