How big a threat is this to homeland security?

Starting September 4th 2007, the Social Security office will begin sending lettters out to employers who have employee's whose name does not match their gender marker, so if your stealth at work you won't be for long thanks to Homeland Security. Also the SSA office will not change your gender marker unless you have had SRS. Another fine political mess we're in. For more info click on the link:

How big a threat is this to homeland security?
More and more America is straying from it's roots.I can't believe the answerer above me and the needs of the many outway the needs of the few.America is founded on protection of minority rights against the majority.Good examples freedom of religion,Protection from racism,Freedom of speech and there are many others and these all protect the minority from the majority.Government interference with Americans working in the private sector should be held illegal.A gender marker presents no threat to US security.A person illegally working here presenting a false social security number should be arrested and deported and the private employer shouldn't be notified until ice is ready to take the employee and employer of the illegal into custody.You are presenting more reasons we should be worried wether the war on terror is against terrorist or an excuse to discriminate and remove our freedoms.

That is absolutely horrible. It is time we finally stood up for our rights. Nothing is ever achieved by doing nothing. We need a good protest or demonstration. Memories of Stonewall should be awoken.

Umm, I dont know how I feel about all that, but I do think that changing your sex should be necessary in order for the SSA office to change your marker because you are still the sex that you were born until you change it. I do agree that trans people get a bad way often and that is BS, but if your gonna do it, you should do it right and get the SRS, then you are the sex that you were meant to be.
I feel for your plight, but the main reason for this law was and is to help stop Identity theft. The needs of of the many out way the needs of the few. Unfortunately, that is life %26amp; life is not fair.
